Constellation, FAILURE

(1.6 / 5)

Due to the CORONA fiasco I was unable to lift the credit freeze on my credit (no fault of my own). Their solution was to charge me a deposit to continue the order process. When I protested, they pulled the plug on our conversation, Rep. told me to have a good day. I am credit worthy, however, they don't know that (again not my fault). My advice to anyone looking for a gas provider, look elsewhere, it may cost a little more, but, it will be cheaper in the long run.

$50.00 FINE TO CHANGE RATE WITHIN ONE YEAR

(1.4 / 5)

I have been a customer for years. I call every few months to see what the current rates are. I have never had a problem changing the rate per kilowatt hour if the rate was more favorable. Today I called to check on the latest rate. I was told that I would be charged a $50.00 fee if I changed because I changed in September 2019. I have never been charged anything for changing at any time, even within the year. I have searched all the literature, and I cannot find a word about this. At a time people are out of work because of the corona virus, Verde is conning its customers.

Worst energy company Ive ever had.

(1.2 / 5)

They cut off my power during a pandemic. After I told them I had been laid off because of corona and could pay my bill a week late. They still cut my power off, then refused my deposit and pointed to my missed a payment.

Letter to terminate

(1 / 5)

After being 3 days late on bill due to the coronavirus Amigo Energy sends a letter to cut your electricity off. They don't care.

(0.7 / 5)

Reliant allowed an identity theft type charge on me-I live in NM-have bugged me even though I did Police report-and cleared my credit-they did not ask for any proof of identity-and let them charge $2,000+-this was in 2008-2009-never lived in TX
